Built in a classic box shape, the Classic Army Brass Urn displays the U.S. Army emblem against a warm brass finish. It is a strong, understated tribute for a soldier, a veteran or anyone proud of an Army family legacy.
Made from brass, it has the solid feel and durability families look for in a permanent memorial, at home or in a columbarium niche.
Personalize it with engraving directly on the urn (up to 135 characters), such as a full name, dates of life or a few meaningful words.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Classic Army Brass Urn big enough for an adult?
For most adults, yes. Using the one-cubic-inch-per-pound rule funeral homes follow, its 210 cubic inch capacity suits someone up to roughly 210 lbs.
Can this urn be used for a veteran's burial?
Yes. It is a fitting urn for a memorial service with military honors, for display at home or for burial. Eligible veterans may be laid to rest in a VA national cemetery, so check with the cemetery or your funeral director about any urn or vault requirements.
Will this urn pass airport security?
Metal urns are often too dense for TSA X-ray screening, and officers will not open the container. If you plan to fly, consider carrying the remains in a temporary container and moving them into this urn once you arrive.
How should I clean the Classic Army Brass Urn?
A soft microfiber cloth is all it needs. Skip polishes and household cleaners, and keep it out of damp areas to protect the finish.
When will my order ship?
Place your order before 1:00 PM CST on a weekday and it ships the same business day. Engraved orders ship the same day once the proof is approved by 1:00 PM CST, and anything completed later ships the next business day. We are open Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
